MATH - 4240 R Programming (3) Provides an introduction to programming in the R language. Topics covered include vectors, matrices, lists, data frames, manipulation of data frames, data plotting library, sampling from data and distribution, computation of statistics (mean, variance, five-number summary), confidence intervals and hypothesis testing, and linear regression. Instructional Method: Offered face-to-face as lecture/discussion. Semester Offered: Fall. Prerequisite: MATH-2100 or STAT-4219 (may be taken as a co-requisite).
