HLIN - 8900 Health Informatics Field Experience (3)

Provides students with an opportunity to apply the healthcare informatics concepts, techniques, and tools learned throughout the coursework. Instructional Method: Supervisory. Semesters Offered: Fall and Spring; Summer session. Equivalent to HLIN-8901  for students pursuing Thesis Option. Prerequisite: HLAD-7101,  HLAD-7102,  HLAD-7106,  HLAD-7109,  HLAD-8106,  and CPSC-8820 ; Permission of advisor and field experience instructor at least three months in advance.  Students must have completed at least 21 credit hours of required coursework in the MSHI Program.
