MATH - 6241 Analysis of Real Numbers (3) This course provides a proof-based survey of the fundamentals of mathematical analysis: properties of the real number system, convergence of sequences and series, continuity, differentiability, Riemann integral, and sequences and series of functions. It emphasizes an understanding and construction of proofs. Offered during Fall and Spring semesters. Admission to Masters Program in Mathematics required to enroll.
