CHEM - 6743 Spectroscopic Characterization (3) Covers fundamental principles of spectroscopy, ultra violet-visible, infrared (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), luminescence (fluorescence and phosphorescence), and atomic absorption spectroscopy for characterization and determination of both inorganic and organic compounds. Prerequisite: One year of the undergraduate equivalent of Organic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry Corequisite: CHEM-6744 .
