BIOL - 6230 Cultural Ecology and Environmental Policy (3) This course explores cultural models that define the natural order and inform how local people use natural resources to sustain their way of life. Case studies from across subsistence systems and settlement patterns are examined. The emphasis is on the bio-cultural connection, adaptation, and sustainability. Prerequisite: BIOL 7400
