MIS - 8401 Artificial Intelligence Systems for Management (3)

Provides an overview of the broad field of artificial intelligence (AI) as it applies to managerial functions. Management applications of AI are considered in terms of their function and structure, and representative systems are examined. Includes exposure to management support systems, group support systems, and executive information systems, hands-on development of a managerial decision support system, and expert system. Specific considerations of how to recognize and apply appropriate AI technology to a management problem. Equivalent to MIS-850. Prerequisite: MIS-7101.
