BIOL - 4430 Microbiology (3) Considers the function of microbial organisms in natural and disturbed environments, and introduces the basic morphology and physiology of microorganisms found in soil, air, and water. Primary emphasis is on the techniques for detecting, culturing, identifying, and controlling microorganisms. Equivalent to BIOL-430. Corequisite: BIOL-4431 .
