ART - 1110 Survey of Art History I (3)

Traces the major developments in the history of art and architecture from the prehistory through the medieval era. Focuses on European examples but also presents a selection of significant moments in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.  Explores the various social, political, and cultural factors that determine the uses and appearance of art within differing contexts. Instructional Method: Offered face-to-face and online  Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
