ART - 1100 Art Appreciation (3)
Introduces topics in art history, criticism, aesthetics, and art production. Explores a range of art forms, including (but not limited to) architecture, sculpture, painting, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, and the decorative and industrial arts. Examines historical, social, and technological factors that contribute to understanding the function and meaning of works of art. Instructional Method: Offered face-to-face and online Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
