COMM - 2112 Media and Society (3)

Surveys the development and influence of the nature, functions and responsibilities of mass media, including print, broadcasting, and film industries. Examines psychological, social, cultural, political, and economic impact of media in a global environment with an emphasis on the media’s role in American society.
