ENGL - 2131 Literature for Children and Adolescents (3) Introduces the major genres, themes, and critical concerns of literature written for children and early adolescents. Explores opportunities for enhancing literacy development using literature as well as methods of implementing the use of literature across the curriculum. Instructional Method: OL Online Lecture, HL Hybrid Lecture, LD Lecture-Discussion. Semester Offered: Fall and Spring. Prerequisite: ENGL - 1000 Writing Studies I (3) or equivalent OR ENGL - 1010 Writing Studies II (3) or equivalent.
