PSYC - 3520 Cognitive Psychology (3) Introduction to cognitive psychology. Topics include the history and methods of cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, attention, knowledge representation, language, problem solving, decision-making, cognitive development, and human and artificial intelligence. Emphasizes developing an understanding of how cognitive psychologists study the human mind and on appreciating the wonder, complexity, and creativity of the human information processing system. Instructional Method: Face-to-Face and Online. Semesters Offered: Fall and Spring terms. Prerequisite: PSYC-1101 .
