MIS - 3101 Management Information Systems (3) Provides an overview of the fundamentals underlying the design, implementation, control, evaluation and strategic use of modern, computer-based information systems for business data processing, office automation, information reporting, decision-making, and electronic commerce. It covers introductory concepts of information technology in business, problem solving using information technology, and discusses the future of information technology. Instructional Method: LD Lecture-Discussion, OL Online Lecture. Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. Equivalent to MIS-370. Prerequisite: MIS-2101 or Instructor permission.
