MATH - 2131 Mathematical Structures and Concepts I (3)

Focuses on mathematical reasoning and conceptual understanding. Includes topics of problem solving; sets; numeration systems; whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers, and real numbers; ratios; and proportions. The two-course sequence meets the requirements for state certification in elementary teaching. Equivalent to MATH-320.
