Introduces operations management, including examples from both manufacturing and services. Topics covered include product and service design, process design, forecasting, inventory management, scheduling, and logistics, with particular emphasis given to quality management and process improvement. Equivalent to MGMT-340. Prerequisites: take MGMT-2100, STAT-2700.
