HLAD - 5103 Introduction to Managed Care (3)

Provides an overview to managed care as it is evolving in the United States. Emphasis is placed on mainstream programs experiencing substantial success in the market place. Topics include the history of managed care, operating procedures, and techniques employed by managed care plans, and relationships with physicians, employers, and members. Equivalent to HLAD-530. Prerequisites: take HLAD-3105 , MGMT-2100 .
