EDEC - 8830 Advanced Assessment Techniques for Children with and without Special Needs in Early Childhood (3)

Studies the history and issues of early childhood assessment. Provides experiences in selecting, administering, and interpreting various assessment techniques and materials for children with and without special needs. Legal and ethical issues of assessment and the writing of individualized educational programs of young children will be discussed. Equivalent to EDEC-860. Prerequisites: take EDUC-6100 , SPED-2100  or SPED-6101  or equivalent, and take EDEC-8810  or EDEC-8820 .
