DNCE - 3600 Twentieth Century Concert Dance History (3) Introduces the major figures and developments in western concert dance history throughout the twentieth century with emphasis on major stylistic trends and cultural influences. Topics include the forerunners and pioneers of modern dance; avant-garde and post-modernists, the evolution of ballet, and dance in today’s world.
