SOSC - 3150 Approaches and Interconnections: Scientific Research and Knowledge Production (3) Introduces the processes involved in knowledge production. Examines how different societies and cultures have used different sources of knowledge to address basic social questions. Special emphasis is placed on statistical inference and concrete applications of the scientific method to the natural and social sciences, the arts, and the humanities. Equivalent to SOSC-315.
