PSYC - 7301 Risk and Resiliency (3)

Introduces the theories of risk and resiliency across a developmental framework. Emphasis on theories of risk and resilience, including evidence-based factors to promote resilience and reduce the impact of risk over the lifespan will be presented. Personal strengths associated with healthy development and learning and the role adults play in changing a person’s trajectory from one of risk to one of resilience will be discussed. Instructional Method: Offered Face-to-Face during Spring semester. Prerequisite: PSYC - 6229 Graduate Seminar in Human Development (3) and PSYC - 6635 Seminar in Professional School Psychology (3).
