EMED - 4405 Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary Grades (3)

Introduces teacher candidates to the Common Core content, methods, and materials for teaching mathematics in the elementary grades.  Explores options for making effective instructional decisions. Prerequisites: MATH-2131 , MATH-2141 , and one additional 3-hour MATH elective with grades of C or better in each; EMED 3099 , EMED 3321 , EMED 3333 , EMED 3402 , EMED 3404 , EMED 3405 , EMED 3420 , EMED 3425 . and EMED 3599 . Corequisites: EMED-4402 , EMED-4404 , EMED-4406 , and EMED-4425 .
