EDEC - 6681 Laboratory 3: Literacy Methods in Early Childhood Education (1)
Introduces pre-service teachers to content, methodology, and materials for teaching writing, reading, and language arts at the primary level. Includes approaches for working with culturally diverse children in elementary school language arts. Requires teaching small groups of primary grade students. Requires 30 clock-hours of supervised fieldwork. Equivalent to EDEC-681. Prerequisites: take EDEC-6641 , EDEC-6651 . Corequisite course: EDEC-6680 .
