CPSC - 8812 Design of Compilers (3)

Introduces basic principles of compilers and compiler design, lexical analysis, finite state automata, context free grammars, parsing techniques, syntax directed translation, symbol tables, run time storage administration, error detection, optimization, data flow analysis, and code generation. A substantial programming project will be required. Equivalent to CPSC-812. Prerequisites: take CPSC-4255 , CPSC-8810 .
