PHIL - 3884 Philosophy of Science and Technology (3) Provides a philosophical exploration of theories, methods, practices and values at work in science, technology, and engineering today, and considers the relationships between theories and evidence, pure and applied research, scientific and social values, and the similarities and differences between everyday reasoning, technical problem-solving, and scientific methods. Prerequisites: 6 credits of philosophy or science courses.
